The accident occurred on Thursday evening near Steeles Avenue West and Islington Avenue West. Police allege that the female driver of a silver sedan struck the motorcycle before fleeing westbound. The male motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Toronto police are searching for a female driver after a motorcyclist was struck and injured in a hit-and-run accident on Thursday evening.
Officers were called to the area of Steeles Avenue West and Islington Avenue West just before 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 after a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle, say police.
Police allege the female driver of a silver sedan struck the motorcycle and then fled westbound on Steeles Avenue West.
The male driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, add police.
